Jette skatepark

In the manner of an English park, the Jette Youth Park is organic in its structure, the organisation of the vegetation is natural in appearance. Since the creation of the park to the present day, sports and recreational activities have diversified. With the evolution of our lifestyles and the densification of the municipality of Jette, the creation of a new sports function is an opportunity to reconcile the history of the park with new uses and users. Historically, the flexibility of the park has allowed it to absorb these changes without altering them. By gradually taking over the unplanned areas of the park or by replacing one practice with another (basketball, children’s playground, skateboard ramp, dog area), the park has always been in constant evolution. In the same time frame, nature has never stopped growing, blossoming and regenerating, to offer today a green setting with a great biodiversity.
